Approval Audit Lab

A staged week where your team walks a financial auditing app for transaction approval audits end to end — without waiting for the next real subsidiary review.

What the lab is

We load a synthetic (or redacted) approval ledger into a shared review workspace. Facilitators play second-line reviewers. Your team samples, annotates, and closes exceptions under a clock that feels like a real close week.

The lab is available inside Audit Chamber plans or as an add-on after Control Vault. It is instruction — not software sales.

Sequence

Five movements

I

Control map

Align amount bands, dual-control triggers, and vendor-risk flags to the fields your app actually stores.

II

Strata declaration

Write the sampling memo before anyone opens a transaction. Facilitators reject memos that invent strata after the fact.

III

Queue walk

Pull the sample, score rationale quality, and tag missing evidence versus true breaks.

IV

Exception theater

Assign owners, dates, and retest notes. Aging reports update live on the shared board.

V

Closing critique

Present the pack. Mentors mark clarity gaps the way an external reviewer might — without theatrics.
